Slow, melodic, soft and improvised music is not only sleep inducing, but proven to have a beneficial effect on babies' brain even in prenatal period. It's not only calming and relaxing, but also gently stimulating this little nervous system to grow skilful and healthy.

The music is written especially for unborn babies, but mums are looked after here as well. It is important that the mother is happy and enjoys the moment just as much. Her body then feeds the baby with joyful hormones and beautiful energy. Science explains that process in details and proves that music affects our life constantly and instantly improves it, makes it longer, better and more interesting.

    Babies respond to music very early and their little brains react to what they are exposed to. While growing in mothers womb they incorporate all the stimulants they are treated with. Music seems to be one of the most beautiful and effective.

    In a new study (Montreal 2015), infants remained calm twice as long when listening to a song, which they didn't even know, as they did when listening to speech.

    Florida State University has announced the availability of a new medical device. The innovative PAL device uses musical lullabies to help infants quickly learn the muscle movements needed to suck, and ultimately feed.

    For most women, expecting a baby brings intense joy... and a fair amount of worry too. People need to find ways to reduce chronic stress and anxiety in their lives or they may be at increased risk.

    "Chronic stress is one of the better predictors of preterm birth," says David Olson, a professor of obstetrics and gynecology in the University of Alberta's Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.

    Science explains today very well what exactly is a normal and acceptable level of stress and when it may be harmful. Experiencing anxiety, fear and stress is considered a normal part of life when it is occasional and temporary, such as feeling anxious and stressed before an exam or a job interview. However, when those acute emotional reactions become more frequent or chronic, they can significantly interfere with daily living activities such as work, school and relationships. Chronic stress is a pathological state that is caused by prolonged activation of the normal acute physiological stress response, which can wreak havoc on immune, metabolic and cardiovascular systems, and lead to atrophy of the brain's hippocampus (crucial for long-term memory and spatial navigation).
